I started doula work in the Casselton, ND and Fargo-Moorhead area as a way to fulfill my passion for educating and advocating for others. My journey to becoming a doula began in an unexpected place: a college classroom. A course on prenatal and infant development opened my eyes to the power of support, education, and advocacy during this life-changing time. When a guest speaker—an experienced doula—shared her work, I knew immediately, I would love to do that!
Years later, my own birth experience deepened that calling. I felt firsthand the importance of advocacy, emotional support, and a strong birth team. That experience solidified my passion for ensuring families feel heard, nurtured, and empowered.
With both academic knowledge and personal experience, I became a doula to offer families the guidance, reassurance, and advocacy they deserve. Birth is transformative, and no one should navigate it alone—I’m here to create a space of joy, strength, and support as families step into parenthood.
